Director
Philosophy
As a Director, I am dedicated to amplifying a multiplicity of voices and experiences through a theatrical paradigm. The human experience is built on the past, present, and future. In order to represent individual and societal transformation, I am dedicated to engaging art that inspires constructive thought and enlightens individuals to view the world not simply as it is but how it could be. As an educationally-minded director, I am concerned with the educational impetus of art and its long-term impact. This creative-mindset is at the forefront of my artistic process and explains why I am drawn to Theatre for Young Audiences and Theatre for Social Change. Whether it be workshopping new work or re-envisioning classical texts, I believe cognitive and moral growth can occur through art when it is created to stimulate discussion, build human connections, and offer lifelong hope and encouragement for all audiences.
